My full name is Marcel van der Maas (1992). I am following the MSc course of architecture at the TU Delft, Netherlands.
After completing the bachelor in Delft as well, I took three years to gain work experience and insight in the field of architecture by working in different countries like the United States, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
Throughout this time I’ve also developed my love for digital painting, photography and rendering, as presented in this log.
Besides these activities being my hobbies, I enjoy the process of creating for customers: working closely together with the customers to create a piece which is not only unique, but also fulfils their wishes in a surprising way. Like with everything, taste, likes and dislikes in the field of art is highly personal. Getting to know, figuring out and understanding what a customer is searching for in a custom art piece, photograph or render, are things I absolutely love. This is a skill which is also developed and required in the field of architecture, and is of great use for me now in this artistic endeavour.
